AAM Tunnel Exit - 2000

Alaska Railroad engine exiting the AAM Tunnel entering Whittier. The large silver boxes on either side of the exit are ventilation exhaust ports. The new A-Frame structure will support the tunnel entrance throughout the avalanche-prone winters in Whittier.
