West Tank Farm & Base of Portage Pass. Some of the small white buildings visible on the shoreline are workmen's residences, others belong to private companies & citzens supporting the military base. The tank farm held Jet Fuel for many yearsa and was connected to Anchorage by a 50-mile pipeline.
